Our Directress

Mrs. Malinda Yeh was born and raised in Orlando, Florida.  She graduated with honors from the University of Florida in 2002 with a Masters in Elementary Education. She had been teaching in "A" rated elementary schools for seven years when she had her first child.  She found out about the amazing Montessori method while researching for the best prospective preschool programs for her daughter.  Ms. Malinda loved the unique curriculum so much, she immediately completed a rigorous Montessori teacher training program and received her Montessori AMS teaching certification. She then began her dream home educational center; one that would provide a perfect learning environment for her daughter and her friends.  She wanted it to be caring but challenging, academically driven, individualized, and fun!  She succeeded in her quest when she opened Enlighten Montessori in 2010. Now, more than a decade later, her school is still delighting families who are looking for the best academic start for their children.  Below is a picture of some of her students from her inaugural class.  An amazing 100% of her first class is currently in gifted or advanced classes in middle school.  She is so proud of each and every one of her past and current students and continues to instill in them a life-long love of learning.
